In fact, I know my mum still has and cherishes some of my paintings and home-made cards that I made and presented with pride as a child.

Whether it is a photographic oil painting, an intricate botanical watercolour or capturing the cheeky look of a cherished pet, I am in my happy place in life when I am surrounded by paints, brushes and pictures.
