About Mandy

I am following my dream and currently studying for a BA Hons in Interior Design at Cardiff School of Art and Design.  I love to paint from my home in Talygarn near Pontyclun, South Wales.

I really feel art has a huge benefit to mental health especially in these strange times, helping to make good use of time, relax and stay safe as my creativity takes over.

Working in a variety of mediums including oils, watercolour, acrylic, pastel and Farrow and Ball paints, I enjoy the excitement of bringing a painting to life sometimes not knowing what the end result will be until it gets there.

I take much of my inspiration for landscape and seascape pictures from my home in South Wales and my travels further afield.  Memories of my sailing days are featuring in my latest work using Farrow and Ball paints which can be tailored to suit each individuals interior.
